Envision Response is unique in that we are equally adept at both long and short format DRTV. Other agencies specialize in one or the other because different hats are required for each. While both forms need great story-telling, each requires different talents. The long form requires a documentary producer’s hat (don’t agree with this, the documercial is a specific style of long form, unlike man on pitchperson yell n sell show, talk show news, talk show beauty, etc.) , and the short form requires the commercial advertiser’s hat. Our unique process and in depth understanding of both long and short form DRTV have set Envision apart in the industry as a company that can produce both with successful results. Sean Fay’s unique experiences, and those of his team, enable them to successfully wear both hats.
When a client needs both long and short form spots, Envision Response doesn’t just hack apart the infomercial to make the :60/ :120 second spots. Simply editing down the long-form doesn’t work, and research bears this out.
We create completely independent :60/ :120 second spots—from storyboard through production—that can stand on their own. We have the know-how to modify and craft the unique call-to-action required to get the proper response that sells products.
Using our foundation documents, we develop a logical creative strategy that grabs attention, maintains interest, builds desire and generates action.
But since we steward our clients financial investment like we do our own, and because we always start with the end in mind, we know in advance when a client needs both short-and long-forms.
Our shoot schedules incorporate the scenes for all the scripts we’ll use to create all the advertising our client needs. An added benefit: there are economies of scale for shooting both forms at the same time.
